GROUP MUSIC CLASSES

WEEJAM CLASSES

Weekend mornings or weekday afternoons, children and caregivers learn and play side by side at WeeJam.

All families are welcome at WeeJam! Children are placed into small groups by age. All classes are inclusive, designed for participants of various needs and learning styles. Heather’s integrative approach involves dancing and moving and improving fine and gross motor skills, exploring school-ready material, social-emotional learning, and building musical skills like listening, creating, performing, reading and writing music.

With participation and child development in mind, give your children the chance to experience this well-rounded musical activity!

OUTDOOR WEEJAM

When the weather is nice, Heather Feather often brings WeeJam’s mix of musical fun and education outdoors under a big shade tent and we have a big family party!

WeeJam’s pop-up events are one-time parties where you can bring snacks and Heather serves frozen juice popsicles and we sing, dance, and jam together. These events have a built-in sibling discount, as all siblings and caregivers within the same family unit come for the one low price.

Subscribe to the newsletter to make sure you don’t miss out on these musical jam parties!

Testimonials

On Heather’s Music…

Reviews on albums, Daycare/Preschool shows and Parent & Child classes.

This is a terrific album, packed with delightful songs and potent melodies all topped off with a lavish production. The vocals are sublime, as are the lyrics which dramatise the music superbly. Despite the musical dexterity on display and the sophistication of some of the instrumentation, this by no way detracts from the playful essence of the music throughout. This album is essentially all about fun, and on this form I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more from this exciting artist in the near future.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful music teacher at our preschool. Heather brings an exceptional level of creativity and passion to every lesson, creating an environment where our children not only learn about music but develop a love for it. She engages each child with interactive and fun activities that are both educational and enjoyable. Her kindness and patience shine through in everything she does, making every student feel valued and encouraged. It’s clear that Heather is not just teaching music; she’s nurturing a lifelong love of learning in each child. We’re truly grateful for her presence in our school!

Heather’s passion and enthusiasm for music make her classes captivating. My children loved the range of instruments and silly songs that she shared with us at WeeJam, especially when they got to try out some movement with them. Heather’s energy shines through in her online classes to make a fun experience for those small and tall.

Lauren, Mother of two.

“We have been fortunate to experience WeeJam both in-person, indoors, and online, for almost two years. We discovered Heather through CPPG playgroup. We realized early on that our daughter was musically inclined. She naturally picks up rhythms, and loves music, dance and instruments. Heather’s sessions foster that. Our daughter can be shy, but you would not know that, seeing her during WeeJam sessions. Both in-person and online, she interacts, stays engaged and is getting better at listening and looking for instructions, thanks to WeeJam.
