Heather Feather

Music, dance, and creative play are not only entertaining, but can be utilised to encourage personal expression, social skills, gross and fine motor skills, and developing autonomy.
All classes are inclusive, designed for participants of various abilities and learning styles, and tailored to educators’ requests and needs.
With participation and child development in mind, give your children the chance to experience this well-rounded musical activity!
Heather is happy to customize her library show for any age group you wish, as well as any theme or books you’d like to feature.
Heather Feather’s own tunes work wonderfully for library shows, with captivating finger play and learning-to-walk tunes for the youngest ones, and more advanced topics for the older ones. There’s something for everyone: every age and stage of children’s growth from age 0-10.
Library shows can incorporate songs based on books and themes you request and typically last 45 min to 1 hr.

As a lifelong musician and teacher, Heather has embedded learning and growth opportunities in every song for children of various ages, and Heather ensures each show is tailored to the specific age group in attendance.
There’s always time for questions, discussion, interaction, and movement, and they’re interspersed throughout for maximum engagement.
Educational materials are available before the experience to prepare should teachers request them, and additional follow-up activities are also provided.
Heather performs as a solo artist, or with any number of band members requested: adding piano, bass, drums, and solo guitar.
Shows can include shakers and scarves for up to 100 children. All shows are inclusive, designed for a diverse audience of various needs and accessibility requirements.

Parties include dancing, singing, props such as scarves and a parachute, and instruments to play along (drums, bells, and ukuleles for smaller parties for 10 or less children).
Please specify the ages of the attending children to create the perfect age-appropriate celebration for everyone attending.
All parties are inclusive, designed for a diverse audience of various needs and accessibility requirements.
Children have fun with, and learn alongside, their parents and caregivers.
There will be gross motor songs and finger play for babies, toddlers will additionally explore music with their voices and bodies, and the oldest children will learn basic rhythm and pitch.
We will all sing and dance and play and discover new sounds together! All classes are inclusive, designed for participants of various needs and learning styles.
